Introductory Video Study on the Character of God
On Sep. 29 we had an on-line Zoom video session with a study on Principles Used to Understand the Character of God. We looked at principles, the mechanism of applying them and examples that would help to understand the character of God. There is so much to understand on this topic because there has been so much effort over thousands of years by the enemy to hide God’s true character. Word meanings have changed, tradition has come, there have been many errors in translation and understanding, there are idioms etc etc. And then we have this strong tendency to think God is like us.

A Clarification
I would like to clarify some statements that might still be on this website. There may be pages with statements suggesting that, at some point, God will leave the sinner when it would be better to say that God “leaves” only from man’s perspective. Man, through his attitude, can refuse God’s presence but God will never willingly leave His children. Man can so sear his conscience that he can discern nothing of God’s presence nor appreciate His word.
With many pages on this site it is not always possible to track down such changes that should be made. Anytime a site visitor sees any errors, typos etc I appreciate being notified which can be done via this page: https://characterofgod.org/contact/

Our weekly study group continues doing studies on words to be added to The Character of God and the Gospel Glossary. Quite a number of additional words have now been done that just need to be edited and posted to the site. I will have more time for that over the coming winter months although more terms keep coming up that seem to need definitions for a better understanding within the paradigm of the Biblical Healing Model of the Gospel.
Books
