Aside from additions to the site listed here, I am always making improvements to pages to make this website a valuable resource and a hub of information about the character of God, the people who are foremost in promoting it and more.

This is the first edition. It will be replaced (I’m aiming for early April) by a second edition with more terms added.

Note re a Website Change

Many who are familiar with my website would have encountered an acronym I have used on a number of pages: SALT. It was used to represent a pattern that occurs many times in scripture:

when man Sins, God in “Anger/Wrath”, Leaves, and then Trouble comes from another source.

While this seemed to fit in many cases, I have changed it to another acronym that fits more generally: SWAT which stands for:

when man Sins, God in “Wrath/anger,” Accommodates, and then Trouble comes from another source.

The accommodation may by expressed as God “leaving” in some cases (eg Job 22:17) but in each case it is God accommodating the free will or situation of man in some way. Another case would be granting Israel a king when they insisted.” “Accommodation” covers all or most cases where “leaving” only applied (inaccurately) in some.
