Opposition to the Character of God Message

Here I am including material opposed to the character of God message not because I support this material but to show what the arguments are against the message this site and many others promote.

There are people who are sharing some very good truth that have just not been able to make the paradigm shift to start viewing God through a different lens; according to the Biblical Healing Model rather than according to the Traditional Legal Model. We need to be familiar with their points and have good Biblical answers for them. Also, pray for such people who have a large influence that they would come to see God for the loving God that He is and begin to exert an influence in favor of truth.

Shauna of www.lightedway.org (Oregon, U.S.A) has some very good material. I recently listened to her series on Ezekiel in which she demonstrates very well how references to Israel at the end are to spiritual Israel rather than to the literal Israelites in the Middle East today. However, at times, she fails to see the actions of God’s people at the end as spiritual and even seems to have them literally, physically fighting along with God against the wicked. She refers to arguments of those who defend the character of God as done on this website as deceptive.

David of www.thethirdangelsmessage.com has an article Does God Kill – The Character of God that has some very good logic in it and starts off well. When I first started reading it I thought it was defending the position that God does not kill. However, he then goes the other way. Many people would be persuaded by his points and I would recommend it only to people who have a solid understanding of the truth that God does not kill. It is worth being aware of his points which is why I include it here. If you have any particularly good information refuting his points I would appreciate receiving them and could perhaps add them here for the benefit of others. His article does include Spirit of Prophecy quotations.
